Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide and begin their scenic journey to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. The drive passes through beautiful rolling hills, rural landscapes, and traditional villages, offering a first glimpse of Rwanda’s natural beauty. Upon arrival in Musanze, guests will check in at their lodge and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, guests will enjoy a guided Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, offering powerful insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. The tour continues through local markets, craft centers, and cultural sites showcasing modern Kigali’s transformation into one of Africa’s cleanest and most organized cities. Lunch will be served in Kigali before returning to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Cultural Experience
After breakfast, guests will return to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on a golden monkey trekking experience in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park. These rare and playful primates are highly active and offer an exciting wildlife encounter. In the afternoon, guests may enjoy an optional cultural visit to local communities to experience traditional Rwandan dances, crafts, and conservation stories.

Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, guests will check out and begin their return journey to Kigali. Depending on flight schedules, there may be an optional stop at local craft markets for souvenir shopping. Upon arrival in Kigali, guests will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for departure, marking the end of an unforgettable Rwanda primate safari experience.
