Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport guests will be met and warmly welcomed by our professional representative. They will then begin a scenic transfer through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Nyungwe Forest National Park. En route, guests will enjoy lunch in Kigali and a cultural stop at the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. The journey continues through lush tea plantations and picturesque countryside landscapes. Upon arrival in Nywe, guests will check in and enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk – Nyungwe National Park
Following an early breakfast, guests will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe. Tracking begins early to increase the chances of locating the chimpanze while they are still nesting. Once found, guests will enjoy up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, guests will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, guests will experience the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walk, offering breathtaking views of the rainforest.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park – Twin Lakes Visit
After breakfast, guests will check out and begin a scenic to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. Lunch will be provided en route. Upon arrival in Musanze, guests will enjoy a visit to the beautiful Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, known for their stunning volcanic sceneryThe evening is at leisure at the lodge in preparation for next day’s gorilla trekking.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Experience – Volcanoes National Park
Guests will enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters for a briefing and allocation of gorilla families.
They will then proceed on a mountain gorilla trekking experience, hiking through the forest until the gorillas are located. Guests will spend up to one hour observing them in their natural environment.
After the trek, guests return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, guests will visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for an immersive cultural experience including traditional dance, storytelling, and community interaction.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking – Return to Kigali
After breakfast, guests will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a golden monkey trekking experience.
Following the trek, guests will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, guests will be transferred by road to Kigali, then onward to Kigali International Airport for departure.
