Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative before beginning a scenic journey through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside toward the Uganda border. After border formalities, the journey continues to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

En route, guests will enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, local villages, and terraced landscapes often referred to as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Upon arrival at the lodge, guests will check in, relax, and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Return to Kigali

After an early breakfast, guests will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced park rangers before starting the once-in-a-lifetime mountain gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Forest.

The trek can take anywhere from a few hours to most of the day depending on the movement of the gorilla families. Once located, guests will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, creating unforgettable memories and photographic moments.

After the trek, guests will return to the lodge for lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Kigali. Depending on departure schedules, guests may be transferred directly to Kigali International Airport for their onward flight.
