Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Cultural Introduction

Upon arrival in Kigali, guests will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide and begin a scenic transfer to Uganda via the Gatuna/Katuna border. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours through rolling hills and rural countryside before entering Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival in Buhoma sector, guests will check in at the lodge and enjoy lunch. In the evening, experience a cultural encounter with the Batwa community, learning about their traditional forest lifestyle, hunting skills, and heritage.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE – BWINDI

After an early breakfast, guests will proceed to the park headquarters for a full briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before starting the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure.

The trek leads through dense rainforest and steep terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, guests will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

After the experience, return to the lodge for relaxation, lunch, and overnight stay.

DAY 3: BWINDI – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park with scenic views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori foothills. Arrive at Mweya area for lunch overlooking the Kazinga Channel.

In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes across the savannah plains.

DAY 4: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK FULL EXPERIENCE

Spend a full day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Enjoy a morning game drive across Kasenyi plains, famous for lions, Ugandan kobs, elephants, and hyenas. In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s richest wildlife waterways, with hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast and en-route game drive, travel to Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of East Africa. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge surrounded by tropical rainforest sounds.

DAY 6: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING & BIGODI SWAMP WALK

Early morning, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Along the way, encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and vervet monkeys.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation area rich in birds, butterflies, and swamp wildlife.

DAY 7: KIBALE – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Depart early for a long scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a boat safari on the Nile Delta, famous for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and the rare shoebill stork.

DAY 8: MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI EXPERIENCE

Enjoy a full day safari in Murchison Falls National Park.

Start with an early morning game drive to spot lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise upstream to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world.
